December 17th: Curry with Santa

A tradition in Penkridge Table. Part way through the tour Santa stops off a bit longer and joins the Tablers for a curry. Except this year…..when he didn’t……. [but the curry was good anyway: Merry Christmas!]

December: Santa on Tour!

December is a busy time for table, and for many the highlight of the table year. Starting with the Penkridge Victorian Market we host Santa on his tour of Penkridge and surrounding villages, with additional visits to supermarkets, schools, pubs and the occasional special visit. There is nothing quite so uplifting as the sheer excitement of children meeting Santa, (and a fair proportion of the old, the middle aged, parents, the young at heart), or just getting a “ho,ho,ho” and a hearty wave and dance as he cruises through the village.
